Ranchi, July 3: A public interest litigation demanding an investigation into the infiltration of Bangladeshi people into Jharkhand and land jihad in the Santhal area was heard in the Jharkhand High Court today.

During this, the court directed the state government that all the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of the Santhal Pargana region should work in mutual coordination to identify the infiltrators coming from Bangladesh and prepare an action plan to send them back.

Additionally, the division bench of Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad and Justice Arun Kumar Rai has directed the state government to file a status report within two weeks through an affidavit.
