Ranchi, Jan 17: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday ruled that granting relaxation in the qualifying marks for para teachers in the ongoing appointment process for 26,000 assistant teachers (Acharyas) in the state is not justified.
The petition against the appointment process was filed by Krishna Kumar Halder. The court had previously reserved its decision after hearing all parties involved.
The court has annulled the provision granting relaxation in qualifying marks to para teachers. The case was heard by a bench comprising High Court Chief Justice MS Ramachandra Rao and Justice Deepak Roshan.
