Narayanpur, Jan 17: Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel sustained injuries on Friday following an improvised explosive device (IED) blast triggered by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district.
Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar confirmed the incident.
The incident took place in the morning when a BSF road-opening team from a camp near Garpa village was on patrol.

The blast happened as the team moved between the camp and the village, injuring two jawans who were subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
The attack follows a similar incident the previous day, where two commandos from the CRPF’s CoBRA unit were injured by a pressure IED explosion planted by Naxalites in the neighbouring Bijapur district.
