Chariot to Take Festival’s Message to the People

Speaking at the launch, Bakshi said the awareness chariot will serve as a mobile messenger, reaching out to citizens with the themes, objectives, and cultural importance of Adivasi Mahotsav 2025.

“This festival is not just about cultural performances—it is a celebration of tribal identity, pride, and history. It brings together traditional heritage and modern expression,” he said.

He also noted that the event, being organised under the guidance of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, will be a vibrant and inclusive celebration of tribal life, culture, and contributions.

Showcasing Tribal Culture from Jharkhand and Beyond

The chariot will travel through key locations in Ranchi—including busy intersections, markets, schools, and colleges—drawing attention to the upcoming Mahotsav. It will carry visual displays, posters, and banners featuring tribal art, history, social customs, and heritage.

Additionally, the chariot will share festival details—including dates, venues, key attractions, performances, and participating artists.

Importantly, this initiative will extend beyond Ranchi, covering other districts of Jharkhand to ensure widespread awareness and participation.

Officials Present at the Flag-Off Ceremony

Alongside Bakshi, Anand, Deputy Director of IPRD, and other department officials and staff were present at the flag-off ceremony.

The awareness campaign aims to build excitement and engage citizens in honouring tribal communities, making Adivasi Mahotsav 2025 a truly statewide celebration of culture and unity.
