In Hill Top and several other ICSE schools, the classes for the primary level would disperse at 2 pm.

The pool car operators were informed about the alteration in school timing last evening so that they can plan accordingly.

An official of the state education department said that they did not want to take any chances as it concerns the students’ community and therefore notified alterations in school timing.

“The weather has been playing harsh because of the adverse conditions. We encountered unseasonal rain during the past 24 hours and this has increased the chill during day time. School timings will again get back to its original schedule as and when the weather condition improves, ” the official added.
