Dhanbad, February 17: The Jharkhand Badminton Association (JBA) has issued guidelines for selected state players for the 46th Indian Masters (veteran) National Badminton Championship scheduled at Panchkula, Haryana, from March 16 to 23.

As per the circular issued by the Technical Officials, the player and coach’s team name should be written on the cloth in capital letters, a minimum of 6 cm and a maximum of 10 cm. Besides that, the name of the player’s state must be on the cloth.

The official said on the first day of the championship, on March 16, a qualifying round would be held for 35+, 40+, 45+, and 50+ events, and the main draw of 35+, 40+, 45+ and 50+ would be played from March 17 to March 20.

Similarly, on March 20, qualifying rounds for 55+, 60+,65+, 70+, and 75+ events will be held, while its main draw will be played between March 21 and 23.

A Jharkhand Badminton Association technical officials’ team member said all selected players of Jharkhand have been directed to arrange their travel programme accordingly as per the events scheduled.
