Ranchi Jan 30: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) will file criminal cases against  Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Babulal Marandi and other leaders for spreading misleading reports and using derogatory language against chief minister Hemant Soren.

Talking with media persons after the public appearance of chief minister Hemant Soren after almost 40 hours, JMM  central general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the post of chief minister is not an individual albeit it is an institution. So, unsavoury language against him can’t be tolerated.

“BJP leaders, especially state president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi have used filthy language against the chief minister over his 40 hours stay in Delhi that are offendable and cases under Cr Pc Section 499 would be lodged against them”, announced Bhattacharya.

Supriyo Bhattacharya alleged that whatever Rs 36 lakh cash was recovered from the residence of Hemant Soren in Delhi it was planted by Babulal Marandi or ED.

BJP leaders have put up posters in Ranchi seeking information about the missing chief minister and have announced a reward of Rs 11,000 to the informer. That means BJP leaders have lost mental balance.

“JMM would spend Rs 11 lakh for mental treatment of Babulal Marandi”, said  Bhattacharya.

Hemant Soren will fight from front

The JMM general secretary said that the chief minister had gone to Delhi for his personal work. The ED should reply on whom directive it had searched the Delhi-based residence of  Hemant Soren in his absence and before the scheduled time of interrogation which is fixed on January 31st.

“The ED treated him like a criminal and it was blatant hooliganism. Hemant Soren is not Hemant Vishwasharma and Ajit Pawar. He is the son of Shibu Soren and will fight from the front”, he said.

JMM hits out at Raj Bhawan

The JMM leader also attacked Raj Bhawan for apprehension over law and order problems in the state in the wake of the chief minister’s Delhi visit. “ Where is panic in the state for which the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police and the home secretary were called Raj Bhawan? Keep them in Raj Bhawan”, said Bhattacharya.

“When the BJP failed to stop Hemant Soren from ED, it is hatching political conspiracy to dislodge him. In 2024 people would isolate BJP from society and power”, he said.
