Daltonganj, Jan 18: A total of 31 per cent of students abstained from the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) selection test today in Palamu.
In all 2,465 students had registered for the selection test out of which 1,708 students took their selection test here.
The selection test was for admission into class 6.

Six exam centres were set up, five of which were in the town of Daltonganj while one centre was under the Chainpur police station limits.
Sources in the JNV management said the selection test was fair and peaceful.
