Jamshedpur, Sept 30: The annual art and literature festival, ‘Satrang’, organized by the literary and cultural institution Spark of Karim City College, concluded with a grand ceremony in the college auditorium.
The event was graced by Hari Kumar Kesari, Commissioner and Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University, as the Chief Guest. Other notable guests included Dr. Rajendra Bharti (Registrar, Kolhan University), Dr. BK Singh (Finance Officer), and Anil Kumar Singh (Manager DIC, Kolhan).
In his address, Hari Kumar Kesari lauded Spark for its continuous efforts in promoting art and literature, emphasizing the importance of these fields in personal and societal development. He extended his congratulations to the student artists and the entire Spark team for their dedication and creativity.

The ceremony opened with a captivating welcome dance performed by Adrija Mallik, followed by an inaugural address from the college principal, Dr. Mohammad Rayaz. Dr. SM Yahia Ibrahim, Convenor of Spark reflected on the institution’s 20-year journey and its mission of promoting art and culture. Organizing Secretary Swati Sharma presented an overview of this year’s Satrang activities.
Various winners of the festival’s events were awarded certificates and trophies by the Chief Guest. The meeting was moderated by Hina Kausar and Adrija Mallik. A special highlight of the event was a portrait of the Chief Guest created by student Deepak Sharma, which was presented as a token of appreciation.
