Daltonganj, March 13: BSNL has to hold up its laying of OFC (Optical Fibre Cables) on a stretch of 18 km for objections from the forest department.
The 18 km stretch is at Madgari, which is a forest land.
BSNL is trying to obtain clearance from the forest department but in vain.

Madgari is in the foothills of the Burha Pahar.
Deputy General Manager of the BSNL, J M Rao, has confirmed it, saying that for want of clearance from the forest department, the laying of OFC is held up at Madgari.
Earlier, there was a satellite facility for cellular connectivity at Madgari but now it’s withdrawn.
