Jamshedpur, September 13: Carmel Junior College organized a vibrant exhibition on Friday under the theme ‘Incredible India,’ showcasing the rich diversity and cultural heritage of the country.
The event saw participation from children of classes LKG and HKG, who presented stunning tableaus of eight Indian states—Jharkhand, Assam, Punjab, Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
The program was inaugurated by school manager Sister Jyoti and principal Sister Sharel with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Following the inauguration, the Principal cut the ribbon to officially open the exhibition to attendees.

During the event, the children beautifully depicted the traditions, attire, food, and lifestyles of different regions of India, emphasizing the uniqueness of a country where these elements change every few kilometres. The audience was charmed by the little ones’ colourful presentations, which reflected the diverse cultures of the states.
The exhibition was not only a visual treat but also an educational experience, fostering awareness about India’s cultural richness. Teachers of Carmel Junior College played an integral role in guiding and preparing the children, ensuring the success of the event.
The exhibition left a lasting impression on attendees, showcasing the potential of young students in promoting the spirit of unity in diversity.
