Jamshedpur, September 17: Prabhakar Singh, Chancellor of Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, met with Ramdas Soren, the newly appointed State Water Resources and Higher and Technical Education Minister, at his residence on Tuesday. During the visit, Singh inquired about the minister’s well-being and extended his heartfelt congratulations on his new role in the state cabinet.
Singh welcomed the minister with a bouquet of flowers and formally invited him to visit Sona Devi University, which is located in the heart of the Ghatshila constituency, represented by Minister Soren. The Chancellor expressed that the university’s faculty, non-teaching staff, and students are eagerly awaiting the minister’s visit, as it holds significant importance for the institution.

Ramdas Soren responded positively, assuring the Chancellor that he would soon visit the university to meet with the students and faculty. Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar Singh remarked, “This was our first formal meeting after Ramdas Soren assumed the office of minister, and I look forward to working closely with him to ensure the university continues to thrive under his leadership.”
The meeting highlights the growing collaboration between the university and the state government, aiming to further educational and infrastructural development in the Ghatshila constituency.
