Jamshedpur, September 3: Baba Vadbhag Singh Seva Dal Gurudwara Sahib marked the birthday of Baba Vadbhag Singh Ji with immense reverence and celebration. The festivities began with the completion of the Akhand Paath, a continuous recitation of the Sikh holy scripture, which set the tone for the day’s spiritual activities.
Kirtan Darbar for devotees
Following the Akhand Paath, the devotees were graced with the soulful Kirtan led by Prabhjot Singh Manni and Sant Manjit Singh Ji, who travelled from Amritsar for the occasion.
Their Kirtan not only uplifted the spirits of the attendees but also provided insights into the life and teachings of Baba Vadbhag Singh Ji.
The evening continued with a Kirtan Darbar, where the congregation enjoyed devotional hymns and the Guru’s Langar, a community meal served to all present.

MLA Saryu Roy, notable figures, community members in attendance
The celebration was honoured by the presence of Jamshedpur East Assembly MLA Saryu Roy, who was recognized during the Kirtan Darbar.
Also in attendance were notable figures such as Tata Motors Union President Sardar Gurmeet Singh Tote, Sonari Gurudwara’s head Tara Singh, Kitadih Gurudwara’s head Jagjit Singh Gandhi, Sakchi Gurudwara Sahib’s former head Harvinder Singh Mantu, and BJP Sikh leader Satvir Singh, among others.
Prominent community members including Somu, Chanchal Bhatia, Arjun Walia, and Aagaz founder Inderjit Singh, as well as local leaders like Birsanagar Mandal President Shekhar Rao, Tarsem Singh, Jasbir Singh Padri, Jasbir Singh Raju, Ajit Gambhir, and Daljit Singh Dalli were also honoured.
Avtar Singh Pintu of Gurudwara Sahib highlighted the significance of Baba Vadbhag Singh Ji’s birthday celebration, noting the cooperative spirit of the Sangat (congregation) from across states and abroad.
The event was made successful through the dedicated service of numerous volunteers, including Gurminder Singh Bhatia, Puran Singh, Hardeep Singh Rayat, Sohan Singh, Charanjit Singh, Jagjit Singh, Manjit Singh, Ranjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Amandeep Singh, and Harbhajan Singh.
