Dhanbad, June 15: Sub judge cum District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary Rakesh Roshan has directed the immediate arrest of a 4 years old girl child abuser and provided all possible treatment facilities to the victim.

The sub-judge who visited Saraidhela-based Hope House shelter along with the Legal Aid Defence Counsel System team was surprised to know that no FIR had been lodged in the case of 4-year-old girl torture case even after a week.
He immediately talked with the senior superintendent of police (SSP) HP Janardhan and directed him to lodge an FIR against the abuser and arrest the accused.

Girl is parentless
The girl is parentless and her maternal step-grandmother fired her with an iron rod and dropped her on the road with tied hands and legs near the Howra Motor area under Dhansar police station, on suspicion of stealing money.
The Sub-judge also directed Hope House superintendent Puja Singh to take proper care of the girl and ensure that all government projects benefit her.
DLSA secretary Rakesh Roshan also met 18 other victim girls’ children living in the Hope House, heard their problems and took information about the facilities they are provided in the shelter house.
Legal Aid Defence Counsel System deputy chief Ajay Kumar Bhatt, assistant counsel Neeraj Goel, Shailendra Jha, DLSA assistant Arun Kumar, and PLV Ajit Das were members of the team.
