Ranchi, April 22: The Special Judge of the PMLA Court, Rajiv Ranjan, has dismissed the discharge petition of Kolkata businessman Amit Agrawal, accused in the 4.55-acre land scam in Barhiya Mouza, which is under the control of the Army.
After hearing the arguments of both sides in the case, the court kept its order reserved. The court then pronounced its order on Monday.
In the previous hearing, the arguments by the ED were completed.

In the case of illegal purchase and sale of land, the ED had arrested Amit Kumar Agrawal on July 8, 2023. He has been in jail since then.
The accused was handed over police papers. After receiving the police papers he claiming innocence, had filed a petition for discharge.
Eight accused, including suspended IAS officer Chhavi Ranjan, are in jail in the case, while businessmen Vishnu Agarwal and Dilip Ghosh are out on bail.
