Ranchi, Sept 23: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at six locations in Ranchi on Tuesday morning in connection with a land scam case.
According to sources, ED officials reached Kanke Resort, Sukhdev Nagar on Ratu Road, and various sites in Kadru, where they are scrutinizing documents.
The raids are being carried out at premises linked to individuals involved in land dealings.
On July 10, 2024, the ED team had also verified disputed land in the Kanke block under its money laundering probe into the land scam.
The land under scrutiny was located in Chama Mouza of Kanke and included CNT and government land.
During that exercise, the ED team had examined land records at Kanke Resort and the Kanke Circle Office, and even recorded statements from local residents regarding the disputed property.
