Daltonganj, July 5: A customary flag march was taken out in Daltonganj as part of the CBM (Confidence-Building Measure) in the backdrop of Muharram.

There used to be a time in Daltonganj when a flag march was a kind of treat as women and children watched columns of cops headed by top brasses marching in the street from the rooftop.

Today, except for the blaring of the siren, there is nothing that creates interest or excitement. Flag March is now a ritual.
