Jamshedpur, Jan 4: The underprivileged lepers had a food bonanza as management of Ginger Hotel guest house served luscious meal to them at Hind Ashram in Burmamines on Friday.
The noble gesture by the chain hotel was in pursuit of its corporate social responsibility and for bringing smiles in the face of the disadvantaged people in the society.
As the ambience was filled with extending New Year festivities, the inmates of the lepers’ ashram too had a feeling of joy and togetherness.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ginger Hotel manager Shailendra Singh said it was a nice experience to spend time with these people who have to remain deprived of the nicety of normal social life.
“We offer food to the inmates of Hind Lepers Ashram quarterly, something which has been continuing for the past five years in pursuance of our corporate social responsibility,” observed Shailendra Singh.
Having had the mouth-watering lunch and spent time with the hotel functionaries, the lepers expressed their gratitude and blessed the hotel management, wishing for further progress.
Those who participated in the event include Nahid Pervez, Kishore Gope, Raju Biswas, Diwakar Kumar, Srikant Don, Jagdeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Mithu.
