Ramgarh, Jan 8: A devastating road accident occurred on Wednesday morning at Mathwatand, within the Gola police station area, along the Ramgarh-Bokaro road. An LP truck collided with a tempo carrying school children, resulting in the immediate deaths of the tempo driver and three children. The incident caused a massive traffic jam at the site.
The accident took place around 8:00 am on the Ramgarh-Gola road. Approximately a dozen students from Goodwill Mission School were traveling to school in the tempo. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck violently rammed into the tempo, leaving it trapped beneath the truck. Emergency services called in a crane to remove the truck and rescue those trapped.
The deceased have yet to be identified, except for the tempo driver, who was identified as Sarfaraz, a resident of Sangrampur. The crash caused chaos at the scene as authorities and locals worked to recover the victims and clear the site.
