Daltonganj, July 3: Naudeeha Bazar police in Palamu on Thursday arrested Basant Bhuiyan,35, and recovered the blood-soaked Tangi with which Basant had killed his wife Alti Devi last night.
A press note of the SP Reeshma Ramesan read that the man killed his wife over some issues between them, which the two had fought over for days recently.

Police sources said this was a murder in the heat of anger, passion and frustration, all driven by the poverty of this maha dalit couple Bhuiyan.
