Deoghar, April 23: To ensure the maximum voter participation in the election, government officials have been campaigning from village to village but the Deoghar unit of IMA has taken a unique initiative.

The Deoghar unit has unanimously decided to give an exemption in consultation fees to those who will participate in voting. But the facility will be availed within a week of the election date. This means if any patient comes for consultation within seven days from the date of voting he will get a discount of a hundred rupees.

The basis of availing the rebate in consultation fee will be the mark on the finger given by the authority at the booth after casting vote.

Along with this, all the medical practitioners affiliated with IMA will carry a message on their prescription receipt.

This unanimous decision was taken after a meeting held in Satsang Nagar under the presidentship of Dr Dhanwantary Tiwari in which almost fifty practitioners participated. A get-together was also organised which their family members also attended.
