Jamshedpur, April 12: The International Maithili Parishad is gearing up to celebrate Mithila Day alongside the traditional folk festival, Judi Sheetal Parv, on April 14th.

The event will take place at the Lakshminath Goswami Committee (Baba Kuti) premises in Bishtupur, promising an array of cultural festivities and culinary delights from the heartland of Mithila.

One of the highlights of the event will be the showcase of traditional Mithila dishes, including Dal Puri, Mango Chutney, Dahi Bada, Karhi Badi, Jalebi, Dal, Bhaat, Curd, and more.

Attendees, including Maithili speakers and esteemed guests from the city, will have the opportunity to indulge in these authentic delicacies, complete with a traditional clay tilak.
