Jamshedpur gets new rose garden

Jamshedpur, Dec 21: A new rose garden, located adjacent to Sir Dorabjee Tata Park in Bistupur was inaugurated today by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel.

The garden, spanning an impressive 6,000 square meters, showcases over 1,500 rose plants belonging to five major groups: Hybrid Tea (HT) roses, Floribunda, Grandiflora, Miniatures, and Polyanthas.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL; Ruchi Narendran and senior officials of Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL, along with the executive members of the Horticultural Society Jamshedpur.

The rose garden is envisioned as a vibrant addition to Jamshedpur’s landscape, offering a blend of natural beauty and tranquillity.

Its meticulously curated collection of roses provides a colourful and aromatic retreat, further reinforcing the city’s reputation as a hub for greenery and urban biodiversity.

This initiative reflects the company’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Jamshedpur through thoughtful urban development projects that integrate sustainability, aesthetics, and community engagement.
