Jamshedpur, Sept 24: Kerala Public School, Kadma, today celebrated Monsoon Day at the school auditorium.
Alamelu Ravishankar, the headmistress along with Sangeetha Samantha, the school chief were the guests.
It was a special event dedicated to engaging pre-primary students with the wonders of the monsoon season.

The celebration included a variety of interactive activities designed to stimulate the children’s senses and creativity.
All the children came dressed up in different shades. After welcoming the guests, a speech was delivered by a UKG student.
The students were brought out in the open by their teachers with umbrellas and raincoats to enjoy the playful rainy weather by creating artificial rain, it was fun getting wet and singing songs.

Teachers made them aware of the things found in this season like corn, frogs etc. A presentation was made to show the things used in the rainy season and the food people eat.
An engrossing dance performance was done by the pre-primary students. Beautiful arts and crafts items were exhibited by the primary section to welcome this magical season.
The kids really had a festivity time with their friends and teachers. The Monsoon Day celebration was full of fun and frolic.
The Monsoon Day celebration successfully combined education and fun, creating lasting memories for young learners and fostering a deeper appreciation for nature.
In the end, a vote of thanks was proposed by Dipti, a teacher. Overall, the celebration was a vibrant tribute to the beauty and importance of the monsoon, leaving everyone excited for the next year’s festivities.
