Kerala Public School Kadma celebrates Sarthi Diwas

Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Kerala Public School Kadma, Jamshedpur, celebrated Sarthi Diwas today to honour the unsung heroes—sarthis—who ensure safety.

The day began with a meditation session, followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony and a prayer song.

The lamp lighting ceremony, led by Laxmi R (Academic Director), principal Sharmila Mukherjee and Niraj (DSP Traffic), set the tone for the event.

Chief guest Niraj was welcomed, and the welcome song for Sarthis touched hearts.

Principal Sharmila Mukherjee presented a safety report, while Nirvika Murmu, a student, gave a speech on road safety.

Primary school students performed a lively dance, and Eco Club members distributed handmade cards and wristbands to the Sarthis.

A Nukkad Natak highlighted road safety, and a ramp walk emphasized traffic rules. The day included a unified pledge for Sarthi.

The chief guest spoke on gratitude and road safety, and the Sarthis shared their experiences.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar followed by the national anthem.

The celebration fostered respect and gratitude for the Sarthis, emphasizing their vital role in the lives of students.

Sarthi Diwas celebration was a dedication to the silent sacrifice of the unsung heroes who ensure our safety on the roads.

The event was a heartfelt tribute, inspiring gratitude and respect for these guardians of daily journeys.

With this celebration, the school reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and holistic growth within its community.
