Jamshedpur, Sept 25: Loyola School and the Loyola Alumni Association (LAA) on Thursday felicitated their distinguished alumna, Bollywood playback singer Shilpa Rao, who recently bagged the National Award for Best Female Playback Singer, at a special ceremony held in the Fasy Auditorium.

The celebration began with Rajiv Talwar, Senior Vice President of the LAA, extending a warm welcome by presenting Shilpa with a bouquet and the association’s badge.

The event turned into a joyous homecoming as Shilpa was joined by her husband Ritesh and her proud parents.

In a heartwarming gesture, she took to the stage and enthralled the audience with a few soulful renditions, including “Chaleya”, the song that earned her national recognition.

In an interactive session with students, Shilpa shared personal anecdotes from her journey and encouraged young Loyoleans to chase their dreams with dedication and passion.
