PINAKI MAJUMDAR

Jamshedpur, Oct 17: Loyola School, Telco, has scripted a remarkable chapter in its journey of excellence, securing permanent affiliation from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and receiving Minority Status Recognition from the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI), New Delhi.

Established in 2015, the institution has swiftly evolved into one of Jamshedpur’s most dynamic centers of learning — blending academic brilliance with character formation and value-based education.

The Permanent CISCE Affiliation, granted on September 1, 2025, stands as a proud validation of Loyola’s consistent pursuit of quality, innovation, and integrity in education.

In a further stride forward, the CISCE has approved the school’s proposal to introduce Plus Two (ISC) streams from the 2026–27 academic session, opening new horizons for its students to continue their higher secondary studies within the same nurturing ecosystem.

Adding to this triumph, the NCMEI’s grant of Minority Status on October 8, 2025, reinforces the institution’s Jesuit ethos — one that harmonizes intellectual growth with moral grounding and social consciousness.

Principal Charanjeet Ohson and Administrator Fr. Gerry D’Souza expressed profound gratitude to the Almighty, the CISCE, government bodies, and the wider Loyola community for their steadfast support.

“These milestones are not mere recognitions,” they said, adding “but reflections of our collective faith, dedication, and perseverance. Loyola School, Telco, remains steadfast in shaping young minds into compassionate, responsible, and visionary citizens.”

Fr. Gerry D’Souza informed that while the state will continue to oversee teacher qualifications and educational standards, the managing society retains full autonomy in appointments, disciplinary actions, and institutional administration — preserving the school’s self-governing character rooted in its founding vision.

With cutting-edge infrastructure, an inspired faculty, and an enduring commitment to holistic development, Loyola School, Telco, continues to shine as a beacon of faith, excellence, and service — illuminating the path for generations to come.
