Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) was filled with nostalgia and community spirit, as the MNPS Alumni Trust successfully hosted its third consecutive annual event, “Homecoming 2025.” The event, held in the school auditorium, reaffirmed the strong, enduring bond between the school and its former students.

The evening began traditionally with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the attending dignitaries, followed by a prayer service led by Subroto Biswas. Principal Sangeeta Singh delivered a welcome address, praising the alumni for taking time to reconnect and stressing the crucial role of continued alumni engagement in the school’s journey of excellence.

The tone for the celebrations was gracefully set by a welcome dance performed by alumna Mistu Mukherjee and her team. Alumni members Altamash Iqbal and Rajinder Kaur hosted the function, ensuring the auditorium was filled with laughter and shared memories.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of alumni who have excelled in the medical field. Eminent medical practitioners, Dr. Ajay Mishra and Dr. F. B. Singh, were on hand to felicitate alumni doctors for their outstanding and compassionate service to humanity.

In return, Dr. D. P. Shukla, Honorary General Secretary of the School Managing Committee and U.P. Sangh, and Akhilesh Kumar Dubey, President of the School Managing Committee and U.P. Sangh, were felicitated by the visiting doctors.
