Jamshedpur, April 26: Netaji Subhash University has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer M.Tech (Master of Technology) programs.

Until now, the university offered diploma and B.Tech courses in engineering. With this new approval, admissions for the M.Tech programs will commence from the 2025–2027 academic session.

According to the university administration, the M.Tech course will span two years. It has been designed to not only provide strong theoretical foundations but also to meet the dynamic needs of the industry, preparing students for immediate employment opportunities.

The program is open to candidates who have completed a B.Tech or B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) degree.

Students will be able to specialize deeply in a specific field, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, and more.

Registrar Nagendra Singh stated that the university ensures students are industry-ready and often secure job offers even before completing their courses.

Engineering and Technology

Mechanical Engineering

Power Electronics and Power Systems

Civil (Structural Engineering)

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Mining Engineering

Metallurgical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Engineering)

Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)

Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security)

Computer Science and Engineering (Networks)

Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering)

Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering)

Power and Energy Systems

Mechanical Engineering (Production)

Control Systems

Microelectronics and VLSI Technology
