Jamshedpur, Dec 25: A partially-buried body of a man was found in a forest stretch under Adityapur thana area in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Thursday.

The discovery of the partially-buried body was made by some local villagers at Shivnaranpur jungle on Thursday forenoon.

Soon, the information had spread like wildfire, ultimately reaching the Adityapur thana.

On getting the information, Adityapur Thana OC, Binod Tirkey himself rushed to the spot and started an investigation to unravel the mystery.

The popped-up legs of the body had attracted the attention of the villagers, who discovered it in the jungle.

After reaching the spot, the OC found the body buried considerably and hence he decided to get it exhumed in the presence of a magistrate only. He had immediately requested the higher-ups to depute a magistrate as soon as possible.

From the condition, the body was disposed of, the OC suspected it to be a case of murder.

While searching for a clue to the suspected murder, OC Tirkey found the cap, trail of blood, the half-burnt Aadhar Card and the burnt bank passbook at a little distance away from the spot.
