Jamshedpur, April 6: A significant Peace Committee meeting was convened today at the Telco Sabuj Kalyan Sangh auditorium in Jamshedpur, focusing on the upcoming celebrations of various religious festivals.
The meeting, chaired by District ADM Law and Order Mahendra Kumar, saw the participation of key officials including Deputy Magistrate Ajay Kumar and Telco Police Station Incharge Inspector Sohan Lal.
With an array of festivals slated for this month, the administration called for a collaborative effort to celebrate them harmoniously. Representatives from various Akhara Committees and Tata Motors Company, including B.K. Chaturvedi and N.P. Singh, also attended the meeting.
ADM Law and Order stressed the significance of maintaining social harmony, especially amidst the ongoing election code of conduct. He underscored the collective responsibility of the administration and the community in fostering a spirit of cooperation and tolerance during these festivities.

The meeting reiterated the importance of upholding discipline and cooperation, particularly during the upcoming Ram Navami procession. Officials urged the Akhara Committees to enlist volunteers for procession security, with assurances of administrative support.
Speakers at the meeting, including Shri Ramashray Prasad and Riazuddin Khan, highlighted the importance of communal unity and civic participation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Senior Police Inspector Sohan Lal, emphasizing the need for cooperation from all stakeholders for a peaceful and inclusive celebration of festivals and upcoming elections.
The gathering witnessed the active participation of members from the Peace Committee, Akhara Committee, and administration, reaffirming the collective commitment to fostering harmony and brotherhood in the city.
