Sindri (Dhanbad), March 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Gatishakti cargo terminal of the Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) fertilizer factory today.
While inaugurating the Sindri Ganshakti cargo terminal virtually, the Prime Minister said that for the first time in the Indian Railways’ 100-year history, such a large-scale function had been organised simultaneously across the country.
PM hails railways
The Prime Minister congratulated Railways for organising such an impressive function and said that new construction is being expanded for developed India. “Transformation of the railway is the guarantee of Viksit Bharat,” he said.

Over 25,000 MT of urea will be transported daily from this cargo terminal.

Gatishakti cargo terminal at Ramgarh
Besides it, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the Gatishakti cargo terminal at Ramgarh and Shaktinagar stations, Patratu- Sonenagar third rail line and Ramgarh – Singrauli rail line doubling and One Station One Product scheme at 16 stations, Katrasgarh, Pradhankhanta, Hazaribag Goad, Ranchi road, Parsabad, Gomoh, Gomia, Barkakana, Singrauli, Paharpur, Koderma, Nagar Utari, Latehar, Tori, Renukut, and Daltonganj stations of Dhanbad Rail Division.

Dhanbad MP PN Singh, who was also present at the function organised by the Prime Minister for the virtual inauguration, said Sindri Ganshakti cargo terminal transporting costs would be cheaper than trucks. He added that the farmers would now get urea of HURL cheaply.

Dhanbad Division Railway Manager (DRM) Kamal Kishore Sinha, HURL Sindri general manager Suresh Pramanik, HR head Bikrant Singh, BJP district general secretary Nithin Bhatt, Sindri BJP president Arvind Pathak, Dhanbad MP representative Shailesh Singh, Tara Devi, and Sindri MLA Indrajit Mahto’s wife were also present at the inauguration function.
