Dhanbad, August 31: Starting September 2, the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express (up and down trains no. 20887/20888) will make a two-minute stop at Parasnath station in the Dhanbad Rail Division.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Senior Public Relations Officer of the Dhanbad Rail Division, Amresh Kumar, announced that this decision was made with passenger convenience in mind.

Currently, the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express travels via Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Station, and Varanasi. Starting September 2, the train will now include a two-minute halt at Parasnath station following its stop at Bokaro Steel City.
According to the divisional railway official, Train No. 20887, traveling from Ranchi to Varanasi, will arrive at Parasnath at 07:55 and depart at 07:57. Similarly, Train No. 20888, traveling from Varanasi to Ranchi, will reach Parasnath at 20:50 and leave at 20:52.
