Daltonganj, Nov 22: RPF post of Garhwa Road railway junction is active and busy and it was most active and busy with three cases in a short span of time.
Under operation Nanhey Farishtey, the RPF team under the command of the inspector-in-charge Banarasi Yadav saved a 15-year-old boy from falling into the trap of the human traffickers.
The boy hailed from Masourhi under the Patna district. He had left home to seek fortune in Garhwa. Here he was cold and hungry.
RPF inspector-in-charge Banarasi Yadav said the boy was given food and a blanket to spend the night warmly. He was handed over to the CWC Garhwa as per protocol.

46 liquor bottles seized
In another operation, a vigilant RPF team seized 46 bottles of English wine worth rupees 34,950 from a passenger identified as Sarwan Kumar of Nawada in Bihar.
Yadav said Sarwan was to smuggle the wine to Bihar to earn double the money of it.
Sarwan was handed over to the excise authorities in Garhwa, added Yadav.
1.5 kg opium seized
Under operation Narcotics, the RPF team nabbed one woman and two men and seized 1.5 kgs of opium worth Rs 7,50,000 from the three.
Yadav said the three belonged to Palamu’s Tarhassi block and were to travel to Chandigarh.
The three booked under sections of the NDPS act have been identified as Gyanti Devi, 55, Nagender Paswan, 26 and Birender Sao, 40.
Two of the three incidents are of Garhwa district while one is of Daltonganj.
