Jamshedpur, March 8: RSB Group, a prominent organisation known for its outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavours, marked International Women’s Day with a pledge towards gender parity. The company, consistently demonstrating its dedication to diversity and inclusion, celebrated the occasion with various programs and initiatives to empower women.

Several years ago, Chairman RK Behra and Vice Chairman and Managing Director S.K. Behra set an ambitious target of achieving 30% female representation in the workforce. This commitment has been the driving force behind RSB’s ongoing efforts to empower women within the organisation.

The International Women’s Day celebration, a highlight in RSB’s annual calendar, saw participation from over 2000 individuals, including employees and their families. The event featured a diverse range of cultural performances and activities, delivering empowering messages on women’s rights and achievements.

Nirmala Behra, Executive Director–Group HR, played a pivotal role in leading initiatives for women’s welfare, including the “Ek Pahal” project aimed at creating a supportive work environment. During her address, she lauded the contributions of female employees and reiterated RSB’s commitment to increasing their presence in the workforce.

The event showcased performances by talented members of the RSB family, adding vibrancy to the festivities. Distinguished personalities in attendance included Vice Chairman and Managing Director S.K. Behera, along with esteemed chief guests from various fields.

The celebration emphasized the importance of gender equality and highlighted RSB’s collective effort towards fostering an inclusive workplace. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting diversity, empowering women, and recognizing the value of every individual’s contribution.
