Jamshedpur, Oct 30: South Eastern Railway (SER) today notified the running of three Chhath Puja special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.

One train will run from Tatanagar railway station while the other two special trains will run from Ranchi.

The four-day Chhath, the biggest festival of Jharkhand and Bihar will be celebrated between November 5-8.

The festival witnesses a huge rush of people in trains and long-distance buses, going to their native places to celebrate the festival.

08181/08182 Tatanagar-Katihar-Tatanagar Special

08181 Tatanagar-Katihar Special will leave Tatanagar on November 4 and November 11 at 10:40 pm and will reach Katihar at 3:15 pm, the next day.

In the return direction, 08182 Katihar-Tatanagar Special will leave Katihar on November 5 and November 12 at 7:40 pm and will reach Tatanagar at 11 am, the next day.

The special train will have stoppages at Chandil, Purulia and Joychandi Pahar under South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

08626/08625 Ranchi-Purnia Court-Ranchi Special

08626 Ranchi-Purnia Court Special will leave Ranchi on November 3 and November 10 at 6 pm and will reach Purnia Court at 11 am, the next day.

In the return direction, 08625 Purnia Court-Ranchi Special will leave Purnia Court on November 4 and November 11 at 12.10 pm and will reach Ranchi at 5.30 am, the next day.

The Special train will have stoppages at Muri and Bokaro Steel City in SER jurisdiction.

02877/02878 Ranchi-Anand Vihar-Ranchi Special

02877 Ranchi-Anand Vihar Special will leave Ranchi on November 1, November 8 and November 15 at 11:55 pm and will reach Anand Vihar at 3 am, on the third day.

In the return direction, 02878 Anand Vihar-Ranchi Special will leave Anand Vihar on November 3, November 10 and November 17 at 4 am and will reach Ranchi at 5 am, the next day.

The special train will have stoppages at Muri under the jurisdiction of South Eastern Railway.
