Jamshedpur, June 15: On the martyrdom day of Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, Sikhs under the leadership of Satinder Singh Bunty, operator of Mr. Mobile, a unit of Parneet Electronics, along with his family, set up a Chhabil near their shop in the LIC Building near Bistupur Kamani Center on Friday. They distributed gram, sherbet and halwa to passersby as prasad.
The event commenced with collective prayers by officials of the Gurudwara Committee and many dignitaries of the society, who wished for everyone’s happiness and prosperity. The distribution started at 11 am and continued until about 3:30 pm, serving thousands of people.
Bunty’s family members, including Amandeep Kaur, Tanya Kaur, and Parneet Singh, were actively involved in the event.

Prominent participants included Nishan Singh, President of Sakchi Gurdwara Committee, officials from the Sakchi, Bistupur, and Sitaramdera Gurdwara Committees, social worker Amarpreet Singh Kale, journalist Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Abhishek Singh, Jagtar Singh Nagi, officials of Kamani Center Shopkeepers Association, New York Director Pappi Bhai, BJP youth leader Satvir Singh Somu, Chanchal Bhatia, Dilip, Mintu, Navjot Bhatia, Raj, Sunny, Nandu, Jitu, and many others.
