Jharkhand News: Sreeleathers showroom in Sakchi set to reopen on Oct 4 after renovation

Jamshedpur, Oct 3: The iconic Sreeleathers showroom in Sakchi Bazaar, is set to reopen its doors on October 4, after an extensive renovation, promising customers a more modern and comfortable shopping experience. This historic store, originally established in 1952 by visionary freedom fighter and founder Suresh Chandra Dey, has been a cornerstone of Sreeleathers’ legacy.

Speaking at a press conference in Sakchi, Shubhashis Dey, grandson of Suresh Chandra Dey, highlighted the showroom’s transformation into an ultra-modern, air-conditioned space. “Shopping at our renovated showroom will be a pleasant experience, with new designs and an expanded range of products to cater to the needs of all age groups,” he said.

Commitment to family values and tradition

The showroom’s re-inauguration is seen as a continuation of the family’s commitment to the values set by Suresh Chandra Dey, whose entrepreneurial vision has taken Sreeleathers from a single outlet in Sakchi to a trusted brand across India and internationally. Thousands of families have gained employment through Sreeleathers, and the brand’s enduring success is a testament to his legacy.

Late Suresh Chandra Dey’s third son, Late Ashish Dey, also played a pivotal role in growing the brand. Today, his sons, Shubhashis Dey and Sayon Dey, are dedicated to carrying forward the family legacy, staying true to the principles of their ancestors while ushering in modern innovations.

New product launches for Durga Puja celebrations

In light of the upcoming Durga Puja festival, the showroom will offer a wide array of new products, including stylish footwear such as sandals, shoes, sports shoes, belts, purses, ladies’ handbags, and school bags.  Shubhashis Dey emphasized that the range of products available has significantly expanded to meet diverse customer demands.

The press conference was also attended by Sayon Dey, Munna Agarwal, and Arun Banerjee, who collectively expressed excitement about the re-inauguration of the showroom, a landmark for the Sreeleathers brand.

With this revamped showroom, Sreeleathers is set to offer customers not just quality products, but an elevated shopping experience that reflects the brand’s enduring commitment to excellence.
