Jamshedpur, Dec 26: In a move to foster environmental awareness and youth engagement, Tata Steel UISL, in collaboration with Potli Productions and The Hyphen today unveiled ‘Swachhta Samvaad’, a groundbreaking book authored by 43 students from 25 schools of Jamshedpur.
This initiative, aligning with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), showcases the creativity and commitment of young voices dedicated to a cleaner and greener future.
The launch event was graced by Krishna Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, and Rabindra Kumar Singh, General Manager (Town O&EM), Tata Steel UISL, celebrating the contributions of over 3,000 participating students who made this initiative a success.

The project began with a city-wide essay competition, encouraging students to reflect on cleanliness practices, challenges, and solutions.
From this pool of talent, 43 exceptional students were selected for a creative writing workshop led by Deepali Raina, founder of Potli Productions.
Through this workshop, students honed their storytelling and communication skills to craft the compelling narratives now featured in ‘Swachhta Samvaad’.
