Jharkhand News: Summer Internship Program concludes at BIT Sindri

Dhanbad, July 22: The Summer Internship Program 2025, organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at BIT Sindri, concluded successfully with a certificate distribution ceremony. The event marked the culmination of weeks of hands-on technical training and project work aimed at bridging academic learning with real-world engineering challenges.

Prof. Prafulla Kumar Sharma, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, was the chief guest at the event. Addressing the interns, he emphasized the importance of industrial research and innovation.

“The objective of this internship is not just to strengthen theoretical knowledge but also to expose students to real-life engineering problems. Such experiences are vital in sharpening their technical outlook,” he said.

During the ceremony, students who had successfully completed various technical modules and practical assignments were felicitated with certificates.

Senior faculty member Dr. Jetu Kujur lauded the quality of training delivered during the program and assured continued guidance to students in their academic and professional endeavors.

Encouraging students to pursue innovation and research, Dr. Maya Rajnarayan Ray and Dr. Nishikant Kisku highlighted the growing relevance of technology and field-based learning in the modern engineering landscape.
