Jharkhand News: Teams announced for 1st Eastern Zone 50 plus premier cricket league

Ranchi April 9: Teams have been announced for 1st 50 plus Eastern Zone level T-20 Cricket Premier League to be held at Jamshedpur from April 26 to 28.

Giving this information organizer of the team Avinash Kumar,  former captain of the undivided Bihar Ranji team said that players from Patna, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Chaibasa, Asansol, Barbil (Odisha) and Tata Nagar are participating in it. Players from Andaman and Nicobar will be also playing.

This tournament is affiliated with the Veterans Indian Cricket Foundation (VCI).

The matches will be of 20 overs each side and it will be played with a red cricket ball at Keenan Stadium. No final match will be played. The winner of the tournament will be decided as per Net Run rate.

Four teams have been formed on the pattern of IPL Auction and players on a point basis were chosen by respective captains & vice captains of the team through the bidding process (on points basis).

Eastern Leopards

Captain Vasudevan (Jamshedpur), Gulrez Akhtar Vice-captain (Patna). Biswesh Tiwary, Ajay Gautam, Manvendra Nath Dixit, Sumant Mendiratta (Wicket-keeper), Swapan Layak, Anuj Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Sandeep Kr Singh  and Binod Prajapati
