Jamshedpur, April 5: In preparation for the Ram Navami celebrations, the district administration of East Singhbhum has announced strict traffic restrictions to ensure public safety and smooth traffic management in Jamshedpur.

A joint order has been issued by Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, SSP Kishore Kaushal, and Traffic DSP.
April 6: Two-Phase Ban on Heavy Vehicles
Phase 1: 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Phase 2: 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM

During these periods, the movement of all heavy vehicles will be completely restricted. However, buses will be allowed for passenger convenience.

April 7: Complete Ban Including Buses and Four-Wheelers
From 1:00 PM on April 7 until 6:00 AM on April 8, all goods carriers, four-wheelers, buses, and heavy vehicles will be prohibited from operating in the city.
Three-wheelers also Restricted on April 7
From 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on April 7, auto-rickshaws and other three-wheelers will not be allowed on key roads and intersections, including Golmuri Chowk, RD Tata Roundabout, Sagar Hotel, No. 9 Taxi Stand, Basant Talkies, Mini Bus Stand, Sakchi Roundabout, Bengal Club, Kitab Line, Old Court Turn, Swarnarekha Ghat Road.
The local administration has urged people to cooperate.
The administration has appealed to residents to adhere to the guidelines and plan their travel in advance.
Adjustments in travel schedules are advised to avoid inconvenience during the restriction periods.
