Jamshedpur, April 10: Several passenger trains have been cancelled due to the ongoing repair work on a railway bridge located over a river near Chandil railway station.

This decision is expected to cause significant inconvenience to local commuters who frequently travel on this route.
According to information released by the railway authorities, the repair work on the bridge situated between Manikui and Kunki stations near Chandil will continue for the next 20 days.

During this period, train operations will be affected. While some trains have been cancelled, others will be diverted to alternative routes.

– Tatanagar–Barkakana Passenger
– Tatanagar–Hatia Passenger
– Several other local and express trains
Impact on Intercity Express Trains
The repair work will also affect the operation of Intercity Express trains. These trains will be diverted to different routes in an attempt to minimize passenger inconvenience.
Sources suggest that over 26 trains passing through Tatanagar have been temporarily cancelled. The railway has urged passengers to check the current status of trains before planning their journey.
