Jamshedpur, Feb 3: Twin accidental deaths occurred in and around the steel city during the past 24 hours.
A 17-year-old boy Keshav Mahto was killed on being hit by a speeding SUV on Tata-Kandra Road near Kerala Public School under Gamharia thana area on Sunday evening, whereas a 35-year-old man Rohit Mishra was killed after he rammed his car into divider on the Adityapur Toll Bridge under Kadma thana area at the wee hours on Monday.
Rohit Mishra was accused in three murder cases
A resident of Majhitola in Adityapur, Rohit Mishra was driving at a breakneck speed towards Kadma through the toll bridge with his friend Boltu at about 1.30 am when the car rammed into the divider, causing him to die instantly.

A patrolling party had rushed both Rohit and Boltu to Tata Main Hospital where the doctors on emergency duty declared Rohit as brought dead. Boltu who sustained grievous injuries has been admitted to the hospital.
Notably, Rohit had a dubious background and was accused in as many as three murder cases. He was associated with the Santosh Thappa gang and had come out of jail six months ago.
Keshav hit by SUV while crossing road
The matter related to Keshav Mahto mishap death was pathetic as he was the only child of his father Durga Charan Mahto who is a school teacher.
Keshav was killed as he was going to attend his tution class on foot. The mishap took place as the boy was crossing the Tata-Kandra Road.
The SUV that hit the boy escaped, leading the police to try to detect the vehicle by means of the CCTV footage.
