While Rabi Pan was a resident of Giru village in Gudri, Dhansa Topno was a resident of the Khunti thana area. Mutilated bodies of both the youths were recovered from the Giru village on Sunday morning by the police.

The fact that those killed at Giru village were former PLFI activists was revealed by the West Singhbhum SP Ashutosh Shekhar in a press statement.
