Jamshedpur, Nov 23: The counting of votes for the Vidhan Sabha General Election 2024 is underway, with the completion of five out of twenty-one rounds. In the Potka constituency (46), BJP’s Meera Munda has emerged as the frontrunner with a significant lead. She has secured 35,073 votes so far, leaving her nearest competitor, Sanjeev Sardar of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), trailing with 15,072 votes.

  6. Ram Chandra Tudu (Right to Recall Party) – 52
  7. Salma Hansda (Jharkhand People’s Party) – 47
  8. Surdhu Majhi (Ambedkarite Party of India) – 70
  9. Kandomani Bhumij (Independent)- 52
  10. Chandray Mahali (Independent)- 29
  11. Dhananjay Singh (Independent) – 37
