Jamshedpur, Jan 22: Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Utkal Association was held in a harmonious ambience at the premier Odiya organisation in the steel city on Sunday.

Vote on shifting venue

The AGM being held in a tranquil way was significant in the sense the members of the association were supposed to give a nod to an important move of shifting the venue of Utkal Association from the existing site along Tapti Road in Sakchi to a new place which is also in Sakchi.

The proposal to shift the venue to the new area was unanimously passed in voice votes at the AGM which was chaired by the association’s president Dr Sridhar Pradhan.

The site where the Utkal Association has been proposed to be set up is behind Ravindra Bhavan in Sakchi.
