Jamshedpur, Feb 19: Several places across Jharkhand especially the southern region woke up to cloudy conditions today.
The forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre indicated the possibility of light rain or thundershowers in isolated areas today and on Thursday.
The minimum temperature in most places across Jharkhand was hovering between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius today.

The forecast suggests no significant changes in minimum temperature in the next three days.
Meanwhile, the Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 67°E to the north of Lat. 33°N was today seen as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan at 3.1 Km above mean sea level.
The Induced cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan lies over southwest Rajasthan extending upto 1.5 Km above mean sea level.
A fresh Western Disturbance is seen as a trough in the middle tropospheric level with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 55°E to the north of Lat. 32°N.
