Jamshedpur, March 22:  The weather condition has improved over Jharkhand from today and as per IMD forecast dry and clear weather is expected to prevail over the state for the next 72 hours.

The maximum temperature which has come down to as low as 22-24 degree Celsius in most parts of the state due to rain and thunderstorm activity during the past few days, will again witness a sharp rise.

The forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted a 6-9 degree Celsius rise in the coming three to four days.

The forecast ruled out any adverse weather conditions and dry and clear weather is expected to prevail in the next few days.

The cyclonic circulation lying over north Jharkhand and the neighbourhood extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level is gradually becoming weak.

Met statistics suggested that light to moderate rain occurred at several places over the state in the past two days.

The highest rainfall of 82.4 mm was recorded at Kanke on the outskirts of Ranchi.
