Jamshedpur, June 8: Heat wave conditions would prevail at isolated places of north-western, central and adjoining north-eastern parts of the state today.
Heat wave conditions are also likely to occur at isolated places of north-western, central, southern and adjoining north-eastern parts of the state, tomorrow (June 9).
Weathermen said the day temperature would continue to witness a rising trend in the next 24 hours.
The discomfort index in most places would be more than the normal limits today.
Monsoon Update
The Northern Limit of Monsoon continues to pass through Ratnagiri, Solapur, Medak, Bhadrachalam, Vizianagaram and Islampur.

Conditions are favourable for further advance of the southwest monsoon into some more parts of the central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Maharashtra
(including Mumbai), Telangana, remaining parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of south Chhattisgarh and South Odisha, remaining parts of west-central and more parts of northwest Bay of Bengal during the next 3-4 days.
